Proton has launched the new and improved 2024 Proton X50, the leading SUV in the market. The upgraded model comes with enhancements to improve comfort and overall user experience. To entice buyers, Proton is offering upgrades worth RM6,000 and incentives of up to RM8,500 for the first 5,000 buyers.

The 2024 Proton X50 builds on the success of its predecessor and promises a more refined driving experience through various upgrades. One of the major enhancements is the inclusion of a new noise, vibration & harshness (NVH) package, which aims to create a quieter and more comfortable driving experience by improving road noise insulation. Additionally, the Premium and Flagship variants now come with a power tailgate for added convenience.

The 10.3” infotainment head unit (IHU) in the 2024 Proton X50 has been upgraded with a new dual quad-core processor unit, offering faster boot-up speed and loading time. It also features the popular “Hi Proton” voice command and Proton Link app, providing the ability to start the engine and cool the cabin remotely.

Proton has also incorporated a new High-Definition 360 Camera, making parking easier even in low light conditions, alongside an Auto Park Assist function. The 2024 Proton X50 offers a 3D view of the surroundings, reducing blind spots for safer lane changes, making it functional up to 150 km/h. Under the hood, the 2024 Proton X50 is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged direct injection engine, delivering 177 PS of power and 255Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. This combination allows the SUV to achieve a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of only 7.9 seconds. Safety features include six SRS airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), level two Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Proton is offering enhancements worth RM6,000 to buyers without increasing the SUV’s price. Additionally, a limited-time Early Bird Package provides incentives of up to RM8,500 for the first 5,000 customers who register their purchase by 31 July 2024. The 2024 Proton X50 also comes with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty, a five-year data package with 1GB per month, and six times free labor service.
