Lamborghini has always been known for it’s bold engineering and design towards the performance segment, making it one of the most sought after supercars in the market for the elites. The new model is set to be the replacement of Lamborghini Huracan and this time around they’re ramping up the effort to position themselves in the new energy vehicle realm with this monster of a PHEV following from their debut with the Revuelto.

The hybrid supercar boasting around 920 PS through it’s 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine with the support of three-motor that produces around 150 PS each. The Lamborghini Temerario generally being driven by it’s engine and one of the motor to the rear wheel while the other two motor pushes the two front wheels.

For us at Drivin On, we know the prospects of our team to get our hands on one is pretty slim and we won’t be easily able to share our thoughts on how it really feels to drive one in real life. But we can make a careful assumptions based on the specification and the data that is being shared by the manufacturer towards the car’s improvement from it’s predecessors. The car revs up to 10,000 rpm through it’s turbo-charged V8 engine and which opens up room for lag and the engineers clever solution was to cover it up with the electric motors. Strangely enough, if the car is to be driven fully on electric; it’ll turn the Lambo into a front-wheeled supercar with a power output of only 190 PS. No reports of the range just yet but it is however mentioned it supported a 7kW of AC charging.

It be interesting how the story develops on this model and how it will stack against it’s supercar world rivals. The looks has been well received thus far by lots of it’s fans and most media outlet are citing positive anticipations for the car. We certainly feel that it be great for us to have closer look to it’s predecessors and figure out whether the Temerario will be a game changer in the world of electrified supercars.
