GAC Motor Malaysia under the management of WRC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd had officially introduced two new variants of it’s locally assembled GAC GS3 EMZOOM 2024 to the public. The previously introduced Premium R of the same car now will be accompanied by GS3 EMZOOM Standard and GS3 EMZOOM Exclusive to complete the localisation of the model’s production here in the country.

The updated GAC GS3 EMZOOM 2024 lineup will come equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with an output rating at 177PS and 270Nm Torque making it on par with its segment competitors. The powertrain will be driving the vehicle through its 7-speed dual wet clutch transmission to enable a 0-100km/h acceleration at around 8 seconds.

The B-SUV which also be using an EEV functionality to ensure an efficient fuel consumption with an average use of 5.9L/100km as per communicated by the manufacturer. All the GAC GS3 EMZOOM will have the same exterior looks with and LED Laser Eye Split and a hidden electronic door handle which gave it an up-to-date looks and functionality matching the current trend of new high-end models in the market.

All the variants will have the same finishing of interior with a contemporary blue and black color to its trimline ensuring a standardized looks and feel to the model. The car will all come equipped with a 10.25inch touch screen infotainment system with a standard connectivity with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

On the safety front, although the Standard variant has ABS with EBD and ESP, there are just dual front airbags (Exclusive gets four, Premium-R six) and no ADAS. Externally, the Standard and the Exclusive are similar, down to the 18-inch alloys shod in 225/55 tyres.

The locally assembled 2024 GAC GS3 EMZOOM will be priced from RM103,800 for the standard variant, while the Exclusive variant will begin at RM116,800. The previously launched Premium R will maintain its price at RM126,800 without insurance. These prices are applicable to peninsular Malaysia only. The car will also be covered with a five-year or 150,000km warranty with an additional seven-year or 180,000km for the first 2000 unit being sold.

As part of the official introduction, the vehicle will be offered a RM5,000 and RM7,000 cash rebates for the Exclusive and Premium R variants respectively while the offer is valid until the end of year. Stay tune for more updates on the car as we look into it further in the near future.
