Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) has officially revealed pricing for its trio of 2025 models — the bold new Santa Fe, refreshed Tucson, and futuristic-looking Staria MPV — following a local preview just last week. This marks a big move for HMY, which only recently stepped in as the brand’s new principal in Malaysia.

ICYMI, HMY’s arrival came after months of quiet prep work. Sime Darby Motors, previously the main player, has now shifted roles to become an authorised dealer and assembler (via Inokom). So yeah, things are heating up in the local car scene.

💰 Price Highlights: Entry vs Premium

Let’s break it down real quick:

  • Santa Fe kicks off at RM225K for the base hybrid variant, but if you want the full atas experience, the top-tier 2.5 Calligraphy trim will set you back RM270K. That’s a cool RM45K difference for all the bells and whistles.
  • Tucson starts at just under RM144K for the entry-level 2.0 MPI Style, while the most premium hybrid AWD variant goes up to RM197K. Almost RM54K gap there — cukup besar if you’re counting every ringgit.
  • Staria, the MPV that looks like it came from the future, begins at RM179K for the basic 10-seater diesel. But if you want the ultra-lux Prestige 7-seater, be ready to fork out RM267K. That’s nearly RM90K difference — memang luxury level lah.

🛠️ Warranty & After-Sales – Not Bad At All

All three models come with a solid 8-year/160,000 KM base warranty — cukup panjang, so no worries for a while. Buyers also get:

  • Free 1,000 KM inspection
  • Free labour for the first 3 maintenance sessions
  • Special launch promo: First 100 customers get 8x free service sessions

Not bad, kan?

⚡ Hybrid Warranty – Still Pending

One thing still hanging in the air is the hybrid-specific warranty. Word from the grapevine (via Carz.com.my) is that HMY is still waiting for the green light from relevant authorities. So, sabar sikit — updates should be coming soon.
