Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Asbenz Stern have officially raised the stakes on the East Coast with the launch of their brand-new Autohaus in Indera Mahkota, Pahang. For those keeping track of the premium automotive landscape, this isn’t just another dealership opening, at a massive 65,340 sq ft, it officially claims the title of the largest Mercedes-Benz facility in the region.

Here at Drivin On, we are tracking how brands are reshaping the modern ownership experience, and this RM23 million facility is a clear indicator of where luxury retail is heading.

A Digital-First Customer Space

The Kuantan Autohaus dedicates 26,565 sq ft entirely to the customer experience and showroom display, with room to showcase up to six vehicles. Moving away from traditional, transactional dealership layouts, the facility adopts Mercedes-Benz’s latest global retail architecture. The focus here is on a highly digitalized, seamless customer journey, anchored by the premium Star Lounge and curated access to the Mercedes-Benz Lifestyle Collection.

Comprehensive 3S and Beyond

In a strategic move to streamline ownership, the facility integrates sales, service, and spare parts under a single roof. Crucially, this marks Asbenz Stern’s first venture into offering dedicated on-site body and paint services, significantly elevating their aftersales capabilities for East Coast owners.

The workshop is equipped with 16 dedicated work bays. It is fully prepared to handle everything from routine scheduled maintenance to complex structural repairs, all managed by certified, factory-trained Mercedes-Benz technicians.

Future-Proofed Infrastructure

With the premium segment rapidly transitioning toward electrification, infrastructure is everything. The new Autohaus addresses this by deploying a 120 kW DC fast charger on-site. Capable of charging two vehicles simultaneously, the station caters directly to the growing number of all-electric (EQ) and plug-in hybrid Mercedes-Benz models traveling through or residing on the East Coast.

The Big Picture

This RM23 million deployment brings Asbenz Stern’s total network investment to RM35 million, strengthening a footprint that now spans three strategic Autohauses across Kedah, Pahang, and Terengganu.

For the modern driver, it means premium tier-one support is no longer exclusive to the Klang Valley. Asbenz Stern and Mercedes-Benz have built a future-proof hub in Kuantan, and it is officially open for business.
